Description:

I grew up playing MediEvil on my old Playstation. Every day after School I would put the CD in and explore those beautiful Levels, bathe my stressed mind in it´s eerie and enchanting Soundtrack and save the Land of Gallowmere... over and over again.

That Skeleton holding Sword and Shield is Sir Daniel Fortesque, who was basically a gifted Storyteller... to a point where the King was so impressed by his (presumed) heroic deeds that he made him a Knight in times of Peace. Actually, Gallowmere was a very Peaceful Place, so it didn´t really matter.
But one day, Zarok, an evil Wizard who was banished for practicing Necromancy and Black Magic returned and declared war to King Peregrin. Dan led the Attack and died within seconds from an Arrow to his left Eye. Filled with shame, his fellow Knights made up an epic Story about him being mortally wounded and defeating Zarok with his last breath.
Dan would enter the history books as a Hero, but in fact: Zarok, although beaten, was still alive. After a century of Peace, the Wizard returned, unleashing Hell upon Gallowmere by casting numerous Spells to black out the sun, brainwash the Villagers, summon Demons and raise the Dead. To his surprise, Dan is among those reanimated bodies... given a second chance to live up to his Legend.

Around the same Time, I became a Metalhead by discovering Hammerfall. So in my mind, the Videogame and the Band always go together. Just listen:

Sir Fortesque and the Background are actually seperate Images. This is him without the Background:
